I am a Cinematographer, I purchased this lens because I was filming a documentary series for Netflix and the Director wanted really nice portrait shots of our main subjects. He wanted these captured 50 megapixels that way they could use them to do all kinds of high end post work to the images plus they wanted to convert each still image into video. So I decided to use my Sony a7R IV with a couple different prime lenses. This lens was one of the ones I decided to bring along with us. It was very important that these lenses were small and lightweight because we traveled to over 21 different countries to film this documentary series, since this was an additional Camera and Lenses, I really needed everything to be as lightweight and compact as possible. This lens is awesome because it is full-frame Sony E-mount and has a maximum aperture of f/1.8, which allows for beautiful bokeh in low-light situations. The lens is in excellent shape and comes with a Core configuration, making it easy to use. The lens is black in color and has a fixed focal length of 50mm, making it a standard prime lens. It focuses automatically and is compatible with Sony cameras. The lens is internationally available and weighs 0.41 lbs. This Lynn’s really does produce a beautiful image.
