Description: Sony 35mm f/1.8 OSSSEL35F18E Mount Lens for Sony Near Mint Condition The Sony E-mount 35mm f/1.8 lens is designed as a standard, compact, walk around lens. It is small and light, yet packs a serious punch when it comes to image quality. It balances nicely on the NEX/E mount cameras and produces solid images on these high-resolution bodies. You get nice build, near silent and smooth focus, even on video, and a circular aperture for defocusing backgrounds, especially at the large, wide open f/1.8. The 35mm focal length translates to a classic semi-wide angle perspective that is very popular in photography, so you can see where this lens picks up its’ “standard lens” designation. Test reports show that it is an excellent performer as far as image quality goes and is a fantastic addition to the E mount lens catalogue. It outperforms all the zooms by a significant margin in terms of speed and image quality. Optical stabilization (OSS) produces sharper images, even at lower shutter speeds. This lens (S/N 20358xx) is in near mint condition showing minimal wear. There are just a few very light spots of wear on the focus ring and a few very light marks around the front element on the badge area (not the glass). Optics are pristine – no dust inside, a snappy aperture and smooth focus. No fungus or haze, scratches, blemishes etc. A few oily reflections near the edge of the glass cleaned up after the listing shoot. Both original caps and a new replacement petal hood included with the lens, in fine condition. I have a hard time keeping this one in stock, so don’t delay a purchase if interested.
