Some may have stickers, etc as he catalogued his colllection, so he knew where to find the music he wanted to play. Sometimes he would tear some pages out of the book or cut them a little on the bottom to fit them on his music stand just right. I don't know a whole lot about music books only that my Dad loved most all kinds of music especially Big Band & Jazz. He was born in the year 1932, so most of his favorite music was from the 50's/60's. Music delighted him. May some of his books bring you joy too.
