Description: SOLIDO 118 Lotus 18 Formula 1 Car Original 1960 release 1/43 (like Corgi) What a great model of this great car from Mr Chapman, such a great racing car, probably remembered for the Monaco win with Sir Stirling Moss at the wheel. The car that took on board Coppers rear engine design, so good, still strong as seen at Goodwood and other historic races. Why no British toys manufacturers of the day did not focus more on this one is beyond me, a lot of models of the Ferrari Shark 156 ( a great car ) but this Lotus missed - Dinky and Corgi made up for it later! Solido did and this is the result a fine model. This one is very nice indeed, it has had a couple of transfers added but has very little paint loss , exhaust, driver, screen and steering wheel are all in place and paint and number 2 are all good and intact.Grey original box is good, as showing some edge damage, all flaps intact small splits but good and present.
