Description: SOLID WOOD 1970s/80s Thomasville Secretary Desk My parents bought this new for my brothers’ bedroom. It’s in very good, solid condition considering its age and multiple moves from Southern California to Northern California and finally to Portland, Oregon. Generous-sized drop down desk with 2 open bookshelves (fixed in place) above. Below the desk are 2 drawers and 2 shelves behind doors (that may be adjustable). No major scratches, dings, or other damage. Dimensions are 79” h x 32” w x 14” d. The max depth of the desk is about 30 inches. It is heavy. It’s a very dark stain with brass hinges and hardware. It could be modernised by painting it and replacing the hardware. Or keep it as is if you like the look of the late-1970s/early-80s. If I had the space for it, I’d do the former. It would make a great desk for a student that’s at least 5’ tall. It is currently in a storage facility in NE Portland, Oregon near the Portland International Airport/Vancouver, WA border. You just pick it up or arrange for someone to pick it up and transport it. It cannot be disassembled.
