Sleep Mode & Automatic Shutdown The soldering station and desoldering station comes with a timer controlled sleep mode function. You can customize the timer duration, and once the timer countdown is finished (and the iron/gun wasn’t moved), the station puts the desoldering gun / soldering iron to idle at 392°F to prevent unnecessary oxidation while keeping sufficient heat in the tool to heat up quickly. You can also set the desired timer value for the automatic shutdown function, which begins counting down once the desoldering / soldering station is in sleep mode, and turns OFF the station when the countdown is finished. AUTO/MANUAL Hot Air Modes You can choose either the automatic or manual hot air modes based on your usage frequency, choosing the right mode for your work can extend the lifespan of the heating element.
