Description: An excellent quality early SOG Blades Stingray model S6 lockback folder manufactured circa 1990-2000 in Seki, Japan. The Stingray features a well-defined clip-point 440C stainless alloy blade tampered to a respectable Rc. 57-58, Kraton handle scales, and a sturdy mid-frame blade lock. The knife is used, but it's in good overall condition; the edge is very sharp; the tip is intact. The blade is about 2-3/4" / 7 cm; the knife about 6-1/2" / 16.5 cm fully opened. Satin-finish stainless steel bolsters, lanyard hole on the pommel; Kraton handle scales have deteriorated overtime and may need to be replaced. Still, these vintage Seki-made Stingrays are hard-to-find nowadays; don't miss your chance to add it to your collection!
