It shows a beautiful view of the visit of Governor-General Rooseboom (1843-1920). Here he is with his Horse Carriage on the “Roode Brug” (= Red Bridge). Willem Rooseboom was Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies from (1899-1904).This postcard was published by J.M. Chs. Nijland, Soerabaia. This postcard sent in 1902. So it is more than one HUNDRED and 20 years OLD. However some slight cornerwear it does not affect the picture (see scan) and it is still a great collectable. Condition: good.
