Description: Here is the back panel amp plate with all the connections that came off of my SVS PB 13 – ultra powered subwoofer. It was working perfectly and I was listening to the Batman scene to test out the volume level setting and it sounded great. I powered everything down. the next day when I came in and turned the Sub on. It kept emitting a constant static sound from the speaker a sound like you hear when there’s no TV station on old TVs. If I were to push on the subwoofer speaker, sometimes it would go away for a second or two, but it would come right back once you let the pressure off of the subwoofer speaker. Also, I tried to hook up my subwoofer cable to it to see if I played some noise through it if it would go away, but I couldn’t get any noise to play through the speaker. I’m not sure if it was just masked because of the static sound, but I thought it would show up Over the static sound. I gave up after just a minute or two so there probably could be a lot more tinkering I could’ve done, but I’m not mechanically or electronicallyinclined. What I do know is when you plug it in and turn the unit on the LCD menu comes up and you can scroll through all of the feature controls and make selections no problem. Maybe it’s just something simple that could be fixed. I don’t know, but I figure somebody here could use parts off of it or maybe get it going if you’re so inclined. Please see pictures for full details and here’s what I can tell you is that the amp was never pushed extremely hard. I always kept things toned down But for whatever reason this one just failed so I ended up paying about $500 for the upgrade kit with the new back panel from SVS and I’m hoping to recoup some of my money and help somebody out in the process by selling this one.
