Description: Sketcher 4b Pencil 12ct Box Set Sketcher 4b began as a project inspired by the quality and smoothness of the classic and discontinued Berol DRAUGHTING 314 pencil. As an architect and sketching artist, I sought a custom-made pencil with similar specifications to that of the Berol 314. Sketcher 4b is composed of quality incense cedar from sustained forests in California, and a soft graphite core formula. Minimal branding and a clear lacquer finish celebrates the beauty and character of the cedar wood barrel. What makes this pencil really special is that it is custom-made by my favorite pencil maker, Musgrave Pencil Company in Shelbyville, Tennessee, where they provide American jobs and support local communities. The pencil is a perfect tool with just three components: wood, graphite and clay. It will never “dry out”, is made of natural materials, and always at the ready. I am making Sketcher 4b available for others to enjoy in a 12-count kraft paper box set (18-count box set coming soon!), as well as a unique 12-count kraft paper tube offering (see my other listings for availability). Sketcher 4b is the perfect sketching pencil that can be thrown into a pencil case, or work bag.
