Description: This handmade pen was turned from a block of wild olivewood. This wood is native to the Middle East, from the same region that Bethlehem Olive comes from. It looks and turns pretty much the same as Bethlehem Olive. After turning, I sanded the wood to 600 grit, then applied friction polish to a medium-high shine. The pen was then assembled using bright chrome hardware. This is a take-off on a pen style called a "Slimline Pro" that I modified to use a single long tube to show off the wood better. I tried to show detail in the set so you can see what it looks like. The pen uses a standard Parker style refill and can be replaced by simply unscrewing the tip off, removing the refill and replacing it. Refills are available at any office supply store.
