Description: Silvertone U1 Dolphin single pickup electric guitar body, originally bronze, made by Danelectro in 1961. It's serial number 2111. At some point the guitar was painted with a light blue which is on the tolex binding. It's probably house paint and can be stripped off. The sale includes the body and the silver insulator strip that shields the electronics. Someone started to strip the body. So part of the job is done. Dimensions: 17.625 x 13.125 x 1.625 Overall, it is in good condition with some visible cosmetic wear. Check the large photos to see if they match your project. Photos tell the story.
