Description: Wonderful Meriden silver plate unusual pitcher dated 1865. Has what looks like a mermaid on the handle and the figure head on top could also be a mermaid also or a male figure. In very good condition and shined nicely. Lovely incised Aesthetic patterns of floral designs and leaves. There a three scripted letters an M G and C. They are somewhat hard to read. It’s 8 1/2” tall and could be a cream pitcher and the top lifts up as shown in photos. Thanks you
