Description: Silicon carbide grit is an abrasive with a wide range of applications in industrial and engineering processes including cleaning, blasting, grinding, lapping and finishing. This is a 400 grade (fine) grit. 400 grade grit is commonly used at the third stage of a rock / stone tumbling process, following the 80 and 220 grit stages, and prior to the final polish. Quantities available: 100 grams, 200 grams, 500 grams, 1 kilogram, 1.5 kilograms, 3 kilograms or 5 kilograms. Grit is supplied in re-sealable plastic bags.
