Description: This is a beautiful signed Navajo sterling silver New Lander turquoise pendant. This two-part pendant features a great bezel-set piece of Nevada New Lander turquoise on top and five bevel-set pieces of New Lander turquoise on the bottom all surrounded by wonderful applique leaves and flowers. The pieces of New Lander range in size from 3/8 inch by 5/16 inch to 7/16 inch by 1/2 inch. The back is only partially stamped, but it is marked "Sterling" and "MW" for the Navajo silversmith Martha Willeto. The sterling silver finish is antique or satin. The pendant measures 3 inches long without the bale by 1 7/8 inches wide. The stamped bale measures 5/8 inch long with an opening of 1/2 inch. The pendant weighs .97 ounces or 27.5 grams.
