Description: Personally inscribed by the acclaimed artist to Michael Lang (and his wife). Lang co-founded the original Woodstock music festival. This was found in his personal library. Lang later went on to manage Joe Cocker and was an execitive producer on Wes Anderson's early film Bottle Rocket. Unclear from research if Lang was a sculptor himslef. Perusing through some of his library, he appeared to collect numerous books on sculptors, particularly in the Hudson Valley. It can be assumed Lang was an artist himself in his own right and at the very least an avid admirier of scultpure and decorative arts. The book itself is in like new condition with light/minimal shelf wear.
