Description: Original CDV of who I believe was Dr. Charles Worthington Goldsborough (1841-1908), Assistant Surgeon, 5th Regiment, Maryland Infantry. Signed in ink on the back, "Dr. Goldsborough". This CDV came out of the Goldsborough family album, a prominent Maryland family with a lot of connections to the Civil War, both North and South. Dr Goldsborough was a relative of Civil War Union Navy Rear Admiral Louis Malesherbes Goldsborough and his brother John Rodgers Goldsborough. CDV is in VG antique condition overall with slightly rounded corners.
