Additional parts are required The Antique Wireless Association Signal Sniffer PCB circuit is a compact battery-operated signal tracer capable of detecting audio frequencies and radio frequencies and delivering the output to a loudspeaker. The purpose of AF and RF signal tracing is to locate the defective stage of a malfunctioning electronic system such as a radio, audio amplifier or guitar amplifier. The AWA Signal Sniffer is a handy audio amplifier for a quick check of audio output from preamps, mixers, tuners, microphones, etc. The bare PCB ships with a schematic and representative parts list. This board is the "B" revision offered beginning July 2022. This offer is for the bare PCB only. This is not a kit. Additional parts are required, and the current cost of those parts from a distributor like Mouser, without enclosure, is about $21 plus shipping. Depending on the nature of the question, it may be forwarded to a Museum staff member with particular expertise with the item being offered. Any items purchased will be shipped on Tuesday. Depending on staffing and volume on any given Tuesday, items purchased after 11:59PM on Monday, may be shipped the following week. Terms and Conditions Shipping Unless other arrangements are made, we prefer to ship via USPS. Choice of media mail or Priority Mail Flat Rate shipping on books. We use Retail Ground on larger, heavier items. We include the cost of insurance in our handling fee. We will cooperate fully in providing necessary paperwork or information required in the filing of any claim for damage during shipping. We generally ship on TUESDAY of each week, for items that we have received cleared payment by Monday at 11:59PM. Books are bubble wrapped when shipped in boxes or shipped in cushioned envelopes depending on size, weight and whether being shipped by Media or Priority Mail.
