Description: Shindaiwa 600sx chainsaw for sale. This saw runs like a top! I purchased this as a powerhead that had been run over by a tractor or quad. Replaced the destroyed parts, like the top plastics, air filter, and air filter holder. Some items were repaired - the chain brake (with jb weld), and the aluminum handle was reshaped back to a usable ergonomic. Some items that were damaged but left alone, is the tank, which has a dent on the handle attachment side (shown), and top of cylinder jug has a broken and bent couple fins. Luckily the combustion chamber is in good shape! There is a picture showing the intake boot, which you can see has a crack in the red plastic near the intake. Everything still seals up, and doesn't run like it's got any sort of air leak. The saw now has the base gasket deleted (sealed with three bond). The inner muffler tube has been removed for better flow, and the carburetor limiter tabs have been removed, for proper tuning. Air filter is OEM and has the upgrade plate/oring kit which seals it tighter and keeps out fines. I imagine the rim drive sprocket is the original, which gives you an idea of the limited runtime of this saw.
