Description: Beautiful artisan created solid cherry collapsible basket in a simple shaker style. The body of the basket and the stand are made of solid cherry. The handle is bent and is made of another wood, I'm not sure what it is, it is probably ash, white oak or maple from the look of it. The basket has been signed by its maker, John Adams in 1998. If he has any relationship to our former presidents, we may never know. The basket itself is 12" by 8 1/2", and it is 4 1/2" deep when it is set up. The overall dimensions of the piece when set up are 12" long, 10 5/8" wide and 18" high. When collapsed the dimensions are: 18" long, 10 5/8" wide and about 1 1/2" tall.
