SGC 2 - 1933 Goudey #138 Herb Pennock New York Yankees HOF

Description: An SGC graded GOOD 2 - 1933 Goudey card of Hall of Famer Herb Pennock of the New York Yankees. This example has bold printing, good registration, nice color, excellent centering and clean borders. The corners are consistent with those found on most VGEX examples. There is a light diagonal crease (approx. 3/4" long) that extends from the top edge downward to the right of the second letter "N" in the player's last name and into the blue background. Otherwise, the card appears to be free of any additional creasing. The printing on the back is very light in a few places, but most of the text is legible. Otherwise, the back is clean with bold printing. With bolder printing on the back, this card would be a strong candidate for an SGC 3 holder. But even as is, the card still displays very well on the front.
