Description: Up for sale is a rare set of eight salad or luncheon plates. These measure a bit over 12" in diameter. These plates were made in the 1980s by Shenango China in New Castle, Pennsylvania. They were ordered by a local Detroit restaurant who closed before the plates were used. They have been in storage for the past 40 years. This pattern shows a winged pheasant flying over a late autumn tree with only a few leaves still attached and some dried cattails.
