Description: Set Of 6 Vintage Mid-Century Middle East Copper & Metal Engraved Plates 4.75” Lovely set of 6 miniature Middle Eastern metal and copper plates, with detailed engravings. Each plate is about 4.75" in diameter, and each weighs approximately 3-4 oz. Each one has a unique Persian scene hand-etched in the center (no repeated scenes), with a floral pattern etched around the rim. History: These were given to me by an Armenian friend, whose family lived and travelled extensively in the Middle East from 1962-1968. We know for sure that they were purchased during that time period, but we do not know which country they were originally purchased in.
