Description: Offered is a set of 5 Franciscan Apple luncheon plates. These hand-decorated plates were manufactured by Gladding, McBean & Co. in California, and based on the maker’s mark, these were produced anywhere from 1940-1949. There are some light utensil marks, a couple with manufacturing oddities, and one plate does have a small chip on the underside edge, which is not visible from the top.
