Applications include the concentration of biological samples containing antigens, antibodies, enzymes, nucleic acids, microorganisms and other macromolecular material. The YM-3 regenerated cellulose membrane has a 3,000 nominal molecular weight limit (NMWL) for retention of macromolecules in the sample reservoir. Centricons are color-coded to let users identify the filter: YM-3 is yellow. Please carefully read the Condition Description, where we explain why the tray is marked up. Catalogue numbers 4202, 4203, and 4240 contain different numbers of the same YM-3 filter units. We took the leftovers of a 4203 (100 units) kit to make a 4202 (24 unit) kit using a plastic tray from a different filter kit.
