Recommended Supplies: Thread Sealant, Screwdriver, Plumber’s Putty Installation Warnings: If seat (H) is not leaking or worn out, it’s recommended not to replace seat (H) to avoid potential leaks.Before installing the new seat (H) and faucet stem (F), ensure no glue or dirt on the faucet body threads. Install New Parts Step 1. Place new seat (H) into the faucet body and tighten gently. Repeat for the other two seats. ** (Recommend/optional) Apply thread sealant on the new seat (H). ** Step 2. Ensure the bibb screw (K) on the bottom of the faucet stem (F) is tight. Place new bushing (G) onto the bottom of faucet stem (F), see the below image for placing directions. **A bushing (the shortest one) is for the diverter stem and two taller bushings are for the Hot and Cold stem, one for each stem (F)**. Install new faucet stem (F) by threading it into the faucet body, using socket wrench (I)(supplied). Make sure (L) and (M) are tightened. Repeat for COLD and DIVERTER valve stems. Turn on the water supply to the tub faucet and check for leaks. Step 3. Install new sleeve (D) by threading onto bushing (G) until HAND TIGHT. Slide the new flange (E) onto the new sleeve (D) until it touches the wall. Repeat for other twos. Step 4 Place handle (C) on top of the stem and over the sleeve end and secure with handle screw (B), and then put on new decorative cap (A). Repeat for COLD and DIVERTER valve stems. C is for COLD stem; H is for HOT stem; triangle shape is for DIVERTER stem. Cautions: ** DO NOT over-tighten seats and stems.
