Also known as Goldmoss Sedum and Golden Carpet Stonecrop, this compact perennial plant features evergreen foliage with succulent, simple, smooth-margined leaves and forms a brilliant, intense golden-yellow carpet that makes an excellent creeping ground cover. The bright yellow Golden Carpet Stonecrop flowers appear in sprays held above the foliage from spring to summer attracting bees and butterflies. Gold Moss Stonecrop looks lovely as a trailing accent in hanging baskets and container gardens, and Sedum Acre is an excellent for planting in rock gardens, between stepping stones, and as a ground cover.
