It is a self-contained, plug-and-play system for fast installation and integrates with any existing SeaStar rack or rotary cable steering system. It will not increase the load on the mechanical steering helm or cable and is equipped with a built-in fail-safe system that automatically reverts to mechanical steering in the event of a system failure.
