This vintage shiny Sears roaster was manufactured circa 1950 as part of the Maid of Honor cookware line. It is composed of a medium-weight aluminum, which made it very light and easy to lift when taking a roast in and out of the oven and also more affordable. It would be a great addition to an MCM cookware collection or an aluminum cookware collection. You can actually use it for roasting, too :) The roaster is in fantastic condition for its age. There are a few small dents and a lot of small scratch marks from scrubbing (see photos), which must have been done often as this roaster is pristine without cooking stains. There is some aluminum discoloration on the inside from heat. All rivets on the handles are tight and secure. The air vent in the lid can be slid open and closed easily.
