Description: SCOTTISH VICTORIAN Sterling Silver Sauce Ladle By SW, Edinburgh c1854. This offer is for one sauce ladle. Per online research, this ladle is possibly attributed to Samuel Weir. The stylized JMB on the front was perhaps the first owner of the ladle. It is 6 1/4” long with a 1 7/8” wide bowl. It weighs 1.12 oz. This old ladle has no dents in the bowl, please see photos. This 170 year old silverware has been around, so it is used until the first collector put it away in h/h collection. Enjoy!
