I've printed a copy of the lock installation instructions. I was not able to find installation/user guide for the privacy pin. However the Schlage website has several videos on how to install and use the privacy pin. Made by Schlage Custom Interior Latitude style lever with Collins trim Function: Passage (Hall & Closet) or Privacy (Bed & Bath). The Privacy Pin is used to configure the lock as Passage or Privacy.
