The Saxophone is in really nice condition for its age there us some wear on the finish & one of the screws on the gard in one spot is broke but not major, I'm not the most knowledgeable on this stuff but from what lve been able to figure out PENZEL & MUELLER is known for their very high end & quality made instruments made in New York US but not for Saxophone's which seem to be very rare the more l looked in to this saxophone which l had come across at a estate sale, they listed it as a 1930's PENZEL MUELLER ALTO SAXOPHONE, I've spent hrs looking for info and have come across only a few thing on them their know as one of the best makers but l can't find much on it looking at it the closest Saxophone l can see that it matches upto it in looks is a anther maker Selmer Mark VI in DESIGN l can see it's made with quality even the engraving you can see is done in the highest detail compared to most others, on sorry l can't give you more info but if l can please feel free to ask or if you need more pics. as well, please take a good look at the picture for more detail as what you see is what you get, on open to offers.
