Description: This pinback button from Santa’s Village in Bracebridge, Ontario, Canada dates from 1967, the year of my honeymoon when we passed through this amusement center. The red color has faded a little (it is 55 years old!). Believe it or not, as printed on the edge, the pin was Made in the USA. That also shows how old it is 😀. Santa’s Village was established in 1955 as a tourist destination by a group of local citizens when Highway 11 was built and bypassed Bracebridge. These citizens felt that perhaps Santa would like a summer home in the most beautiful cottage area in Ontario which also happened to be conveniently located half way between the equator and the North Pole, on the 45th parallel. It is still functioning. I ship free within the USA on the same day as receiving payment, using recycled packaging materials whenever possible. Please note, I am an individual seller and though I strive to avoid errors I do sometimes make them. I always wish to correct any mistake or miscommunication as best as possible. Please contact me through eBay should there ever be an issue with a listing or purchase because I want to make it right.
