All lures are handmade to perfection, wired through, weighted for casting maximum distance, and lathe turned for anti tumble, whilst maintaining a realistic action vital in enticing fish to strike. Samson lures are best deployed for surface action but can also be fished deep when conditions suit. The lures are suitable for catching a wide variety of Pelagics including GTs and just about any fish that takes a lure. We have a variety of lures to suit every condition from rough windy days where plenty of water disturbance is required, to calm smooth days when a more subtle approach can prove more effective. Together with the exceptional casting distance, these virtually indestructible lures are an excellent addition to any fishermans tackle box. Fat Minnow Type – Surface Sinking Lure The Fat Minnow is a long casting surface lure designed for rougher seas, or where a bigger water disturbance is required.This lure will bring up fish from beneath, and is best retrieved at a medium to fast speed across the surface of the water.It can be simply retrieved at a steady speed across the top of the water, or worked with a more blooping type action, using the rod tip with an upwards or sideways pull to create the splash, much like a popper.A great advantage to this lure is it can be retrieved for long periods creating plenty of splash without being tiring on the arm like a popper.Suitable for Bass, GTs,Tailor (bluefish), Tuna, Sea Trout, Snapper, Roosterfish, Jacks, Mackerel, Kingfish and most other Pelagics • Mustad treble hook.• Wired through using high strength materials.• High quality rigging and fittings• Weighted for maximum casting distance• Virtually indestructible lures, suitable fishing around sharp rocks and toothy pelagics.• Hand made lathe turned for precision casting• All lures are produced in white, a good all round colour and come with 2 free skin swaps• Casts well in windy conditions , great for punching through onshore winds. Slim Minnow Type – Surface Sinking Lure The Slim minnow is a long casting surface lure designed to imitate a fleeing needle type fish.Best suited for calmer to medium sized seas, this lure is more subtle than some of the other lures in the range.You can work this lure by simply retrieving it across the surface of the water at a medium to fast speed, or use your rod tip to create a more erratic type action. Enticer Top Water/Sub Type -Topwater/Sub – Sinking The Enticer Minnow is a long casting versatile lure that can be effectively worked top water, or just below the surface imitating a fleeing bait fish.Best retrieved between a medium to fast speed when targeting pelagics.When targeting bass, work the lure at a slow to medium speed using the rod tip to create a more erratic action.Gently shaking the rod tip will give an enticing injured fish action to the lure allowing you to slow right down hovering over shallow rocky areas where predatory fish may be present.Suitable for Bass, GTs,Tailor (bluefish), Tuna, Sea Trout, Snapper, Roosterfish, Jacks, Mackerel, Kingfish and most other Pelagics • Mustad Treble hook.• Wired through using high strength materials.• High quality rigging and fittings• Weighted for maximum casting distance• Virtually indestructible lures, suitable fishing around sharp rocks and toothy pelagics.• Hand made lathe turned for precision casting• All lures are produced in white, a good all round colour and come with 2 free skin swaps• Casts well in windy conditions , great for punching through onshore winds. Enticer Sub Surface Tweak Baits Type – Sub surface sinking The Enticer sub surface tweak bait has been designed to swim just below the surface of the water imitating an injured or fleeing bait fish. Its easy to use and fish find it very enticing This lure can be retrieved slow to fast, and is best worked using taps on the rod tip to impart that injured fish action. Longer sweeping pulls are also very effective depending on what fish you are targeting, and conditionsIf the fish are down deep you can let the lure sink and retrieve again with an erratic darting action. (Hooks/Skin swaps and hooks not included on 150g version) Bomb The Bomb is a long casting surface lure with a nice splashy side to side nose action.Although a sinking surface lure it was designed to be retrieved slower than most Samson lures, and works best at a medium retrieval speed.A very easy lure to work, just retrieve the lure or add small taps of the rod tip to really exaggerate the action depending on conditions. Best worked with the rod tip up! Stealth Glide The Stealth Glide is the slowest sinking lure in the Samson range.Although the lure was designed for a generally slower retrieval speed, it works equally well with a fast retrieve, and can be worked across the surface, just below, or dropped down deeper. A lazy enticing side to side action can be achieved by using a slow retrieve and a side to side tapping action of the rod tip. (See videos) A faster side to side nose action action can be achieved by a faster retrieve and tapping of the rod tip (rod tip preferably up) The Stealth Glide was designed for calmer conditions, early mornings, evenings and night time fishing where it can be worked through the water column slowly, or close to the surface depending on the conditions.
