Description: This gorgeous SAJI plate is in very good vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks. The decorative plate is Japanese porcelain made by Saji China Co of Nagoya, Japan. It is an example of "Fancy Imari", a term used to describe these precise and highly detailed fine china patterns that are elaborations of the Imari palette(blue and rust red) and decorative motifs. In the middle is a pair of pheasants as well as birds, butterflies, berries and peony blossoms. Around the border are a dragon and deer. Lotus blossoms are between them. They are framed in two bands of the Imari style brocade. Along the edge is a gold tone trim. The plate measures approximately 7.5" in diameter. Please see pictures as I tried to show the details of the plate. Plate will ship USPS the next business day after payment is received Thank you for checking out my listing!
