Mr. Denton, who grew up in Wellesley, MA, was a self-taught naturalist and artist. Prints of his colored drawings have long been sought by collectors and to this day are considered to be unrivaled in beauty and accuracy of detail. These reproductions of the original Denton chromolithographs were published and printed in Connecticut by the Connecticut River Publishing Company. They are unframed, limited edition, numbered prints on archival-quality, acid-free paper and have been stored in a moisture-controlled environment.
