S-5!® clamps attach to the panel seam by the tightening of two "bullet-nosed" stainless steel setscrews against the seam material. (This is usually done with an industrial grade screwgun.) The setscrews compress the seam material against the opposite wall of the clamp. They will "dimple" the seam material, but will not penetrate it. Threaded holes in the clamp (and stainless hardware provided) enable the easy attachment of various ancillary items to the clamps. The NEW S-5-N MINI seam clamp is a the latest design from S-5! and features significant improvement over the original S-5-N mini seam clamp. (The original S-5-N mini clamp is no longer available) The new design features an innovative insert that ensures a superior fit for new and wider nail strip profiles, as well as older ones. The NEW S-5-N mini clamp is designed for use on the most popular 1″ nail strip metal roofs, including: Taylor Metal’s Easy Lock™. ASC Building Products Skyline Roofing®, McElroy Metals Meridian, New Tech Machinery FF100, Schlebach 1″ Nail Strip, and roofing profiles with similar profiles. The NEW S-5-N Mini clamps are not compatible and should never be used with S-5! Snorail/SnoFence or ColorGard snow retention systems. If you are installing ColorGard, make sure to use the regular New S-5-N seam clamp. The Hex bolt is no longer standard with S-5! mini clamps. The N Mini clamp is a more economical solution for lighter-duty attachments where Herculean holding strength is not required. All standard and Mini clamps undergo rigorous load testing. Negative load normal-to-seam testing (pull-up) is performed on all Mini clamps, and parallel-to-seam testing (drag load) is performed on all standard clamps. *S-5!® Mini clamps are not compatible and should not be used with S-5! Items returned to us without receiving a return authorization will be returned to you at your expense. Exchanges and returns are not accepted after 30 days of receipt of shipment. Unopened Products To make an exchange or return for an unopened product, please contact us and obtain a Return Authorization. If the exchanged or returned product is unopened with all original accessories, manuals, packaging, and/or shrink wrap, you will be responsible for return shipping. If the product was sold with free shipping, shipping charges to deliver the item will be deducted from the refund amount. A refund to your method of payment will be processed within one week of receiving an authorized return minus any applicable shipping charges. Damaged/Defective Products To make an exchange or return for a damaged/defective product, please contact us and obtain a Return Authorization. If the product is returned for being damaged/defective, we will provide a return shipping label for domestic shipping costs. If we test and confirm the product is damaged/defective and receive the product along with all original accessories, manuals, and packing, we will provide a refund for the purchase price of the product, plus domestic shipping charges, if any, assessed at the time of purchase. International shipping charges, if any, will not be reimbursed. A refund to your method of payment will be processed within one week of receiving an authorized return. If we test and confirm the product is in full working order, a refund will not be provided and you will be responsible for providing a return shipping label to have the product returned to you.
