Description: Russian Empire. Original Dragoons big size shashka 1st variation (RARE) by ZWF - Zlatoust Weaponry Factory.The blade is in excellent condition. One side of it is by the brass guard yearly type of round seal of Zlatoust Weaponry Factory without an eagle and without date. Also Letter C in a circle. Another side with two control and quality marks. The wooden grip is without visible damage. This earlier variation doesn't have a nut to hold the handle/grip together, instead it has a rivet. The wooden scabbard covered by the original leather with small cracks and small losses of leather. The scabbard has evidence of old restoration.Total length is about 39.50 inches, blade only (without handle) is about 33.50 inches.Originally from the Empire era bay-t is in almost mint condition.
