The bluing is dull ( almost looks/feels like a packetized finish) its hard to explain. and the barrel is in excellent working condition. This is a new take off, the muzzle is in 100% new condition, NO muzzle dings and I took pictures of the extractor area to show not wear. . This is a standard contoured barrel , sometimes referred to a pencil barrel. That being said it will fit in a standard Ruger and charger stock---THIS IS NOT A BULL BARREL this is a new barrel , never handled by the public. only test fired by Ruger, its 100% new condition this is a factory OEM Ruger barrel I took pics of the extractor area of the barrel to show NO usage on the barrel email with questions
