There is a small patch on the back cover where there is air between the cloth and the cardboard, but there is no tearing at all. There is some slight staining on the front cover, and the original owner's full name is written in ink on the top right corner. The right edges of the page block show some indentations where people used their fingers to riffle through the book. However, the page block is intact and the pages retain their original gloss. There are extensive signatures and writing throughout the book, but none interfere with any of Ruby's photos (note: she did not sign the book.)
