Description: RUBBER GROMMETS FOR THE OPENINGS IN THE UPPER ARM OF A VINTAGE DELTA 14" BAND SAW.This listing is for two (2) identical rubber grommets that perfectly fit the 3/4" diameter openings for the electrical cord for the OEM worklight in the Delta band saw's upper support arm. One opening is directly behind the vertical blade guide post and the other opening is at the lower rear side of the the support arm where the original equipment cord exited.Original grommets get hard and brittle over time and are not salvagable when restoring a vintage Delta band saw. The grommets required to fit these two locations are unusal in their size and shape because of their having to accomodate the extra thick wall of the casting. We have been able to source these hard-to-find grommets for this application and use them on every machine restoration we complete. We have had numerous requests to make them available to other vintage machine restorers.These grommets are easiest installed if they are first lubricated with spray silicon or liquid dish soap.Two (2) highly flexible black Buna rubber grommets are included. They will be mailed in a trackable padded envelope through the US Post Office. The cost of shipping is $5.50 to anywhere in the lower 48 states. Additional grommets on the same order are shipped at no charge. Other locations may have to pay an additional fee. Payment by PayPal is preferred.
