Description: This card: a nice real photo (actual photograph) vintage postcard. Will Rogers Favorite Pony "Soapsuds". Guaranteed old and original. Postally used, with Mar 11 1946 postmark, Santa Monica Calif. Message about stopping by Will Rogers place and seeing his great roping pony Soap Suds. Of course, Rogers was no longer alive himself in 1946. My scanner will sometimes give a pink cast to the scanned image, but the actual card is just the photographic sepia gray tones. Card condition, style, design, etc. is as shown. Please ask any questions you wish; earlier in the listing period is better for correspondence. Now that I am providing detailed, high resolution scanning, I will spend less time describing, more time listing. Please view posted images carefully, and use this general note as well: Condition: Good to Very Good, with a little corner tip and edge bumping, some scattered light marks on front, and various age wear and light marks on back.
