Description: Single sided tin (SST) die cut sign with good color and shine. Never was hung outdoors nor exposed to weather. This is NOT a reproduction. It is an original sign manufactured by "The Donaldson Art Sign Company, Covington, KY. To the best of my knowledge, this sign is pre 1960's. The sign includes the words "copyright 1936 by Nehi, Inc" and "net contents 12 fluid ounces". The Donaldson Art Sign Company dates back to the 1863 and was the premier manufacturer of metal art signage to the beer, cigarette and soft drink industry up until 1987 when they ceased operation. If a sign shows that they manufactured it, you know it's an original vintage sign. This sign measures 30" high x 7" wide. It has a small hole at the top and bottom for hanging. The overall condition is good to excellent. All the paint is original. No chips or deep scratches. The tin has a few minor wavy dent creases at the top of the bottle above the soda line, and an approximate 8" thin dent crease in the body below the "W" which runs down to approximately 1 1/2"below the yellow paint. The sign has some minor damage at both bottom corner tips which is slightly bent and the paint is chipped. I've taken many pics of both the front and back and tried my best to highlight all the imperfections to provide a very accurate condition report. Any additional questions feel free to contact me.
