Description: Hard-to-find stereo release of the United Artists compilation LP 'Films on Parade', a collection of 'Great Film Themes' played by the Band of The Royal Artillery (1968). The album was only released in the UK so this remains the only source for this compilation. Band of The Royal Artillery Play Great Film Themes – Films on Parade (Soundtracks) (1968) ConditionVINYL: VG. A very clean surface on visual inspection. One light hairline scuffs on side 1 but nothing major. No other wear or marks. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is very good. Some surface noise and low-level crackling, mainly at run-ins and in between and during quieter cues. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A decent listen to this rare entry from United Artists. OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: G-VG. Colours are unfaded and clean. Superb laminated front. No obvious defects beyond a few creases in from spine and some edges and light disc outline on front. Some yellowing round edges on back and along lightly dogeared aperture. Corners have light nicks/buckling but edges, spine in great shape. Intact. A nice example but conservatively Good Plus.INNER SLEEVE: VG. Original. White paper with curved corners. Light folding, creases but intact. Label: United Artists SULP 1213 Format: Vinyl, LP, Album Country: UK Released: 1968 Genre: Brass & Military, Stage & Screen Style: Soundtrack, Score Tracklist A1. ITEM CONDITION - items are graded according to Record Collector definitions - see below: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced. POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
