Roseville Velmoss Vase in just about original condition, no cracks, chips, repairs, damage of any kind, looks more like "Ming Turqoise Color " to me, not sure who/why they called it Crystal Green!? No crazing, light dusting of Greys within the leaves to make them have a natural shodowing! Velmoss is a middle period pattern introduced by Roseville Pottery in 1935. An alternate name for this popular Roseville pattern is Velmoss II. The blue, green, and tan pieces are Arts and Crafts style, while the rose examples are more Art Deco. Velmoss was originally marked with foil labels. Some examples have handwritten shape numbers usually in red. Later examples have die-impressed Roseville script marks. The 19 Velmoss shapes include several different vases and bowls.Nice piece, rare color, well done. 6 & 1/2 inches tall, 5.5 inches deep, 6 inches wide at pseudo-handles, rolled under rimmed bottom. Marked w/red pencil 714
