Description: In the early 20th century, Ohio was home to three of America's major art potteries. One of them was the Roseville Pottery Company, who produced gorgeous stoneware flower pots and vases such as this Freesia patterned, dual handled vase. With white and lavender colored freesia's on one side and a frond of white freesia's on the other, this gradiently green piece weighs in at just under 2 lbs. With dual, squared handles aside its urn shaped basin, the nearly 8.5" tall vase sits atop a 3" base. While one side of the vase looks absolutely perfect, the other displays some signs of age, of use, of love, of clumsiness. With a chip in the base and another upon the rim - along with a faint crack - this still gorgeous piece has seen better days. Imprinted with "Roseville USA 122.8" on the bottom, this nearly 80 year old beauty still brings all the class and charm intended. ***Hello Shopper With Discerning Taste!*** Thanks so much for checking out BricABrac Brigade! As you’re here, you obviously love vintage goodies as much as I (I already know I like you!) and that you appreciate how these treasures have stood the test of time. As such, my items bear wear consistent with age - rarely is something decades old ever pristine (myself included!), however I strive to highlight any flaws or blemishes via descriptions and photos. If anything has been inadvertently overlooked, contact me! While all sales are final and items sold as is, please contact me with any additional questions or issues before purchasing or upon receipt of your goodies as keeping my customers happy makes me happy.
