Description: PLEASE READ ALL TERMS BEFORE BIDDING! Listing is for a single note (photos show front and back) advertising Rose Jelly which apparently the manufacturer considered it to be a cure all for the many ailments listed on the back. Remember these were the days of snake oil and patent medicines! The note is featured on page 47 of the Vlack book. It is from New Midway, Frederick County, Maryland. These are pricy in high grades; this note has minor wear and one prominent heavy fold on the upper right corner that has opened up a bit (see last picture showing flashlight through note). Each corner is shown in the pictures. The note is priced accordingly for the wear, and it will be sent in a new currency sleeve. The color is very vibrant on the front. Advertising currency collecting seems to be picking up lately. This may still be an area where you can acquire some nice pieces before prices go up. At this price it won't last!
