Description: Offered for sale is my 2012 Ron Thorn So Cal G/T Telecaster. This is truly a fantastic choice for any professional musician. The Swamp Ash body is finished in an extremely thin Shoreline Gold nitro. In bright light, the grain of the Swamp ash is visible and gives this guitar a unique and eye-catching look. The solid Rosewood neck and fretboard with stainless steel frets, provide an extremely comfortable and smooth playing experience. The modern 6 saddle Gotoh bridge with steel saddles combined with Ron's coveted powerful and muscular GT-90t pickups that are somewhat of a cross between a P-90 and a Tele on steroids offer up tremendous sustain with a focus on the fundamental note, much like a Les Paul in a Tele package. Made by Ron's own hands in the Republic of California prior to his stint as Principal Master Builder at the Fender Custom Shop, this top-of-the-line guitar is a must-have for any serious musician! The guitar is in very good used condition. It's comfortably broken in and feels great. There is a bit of playing wear in the form of a few small dings and scuffs that are to be expected from being well-loved and played over the last 12 years. The original G&G case with it's blue plush interior is included as is the original spec. sheet, truss rod tool, and hang tag signed by Ron.
