Caption appears to be incorrect because the Gulfstream l has a turboprop engine and this is obviously a jet engine. Looks like it is from the Gulfstream l l or maybe even the Gulfstream l l l . The Gulfstream II (G-II) is an American twin engine business jet designed and built by Grumman and then in succession, Grumman American and finally Gulfstream American. Its Grumman model number is G-1159 and its US military designation is C-11 Gulfstream II. It has been succeeded by the Gulfstream III. The first Gulfstream II flew on October 2, 1966. Rohr, Inc. is doing business as Goodrich Aerostructures Group. ROHR, Inc. designs, manufactures, and integrates nacelles, thrust reversers, and pylons for commercial aircraft. The company provides nacelle systems for the Airbus A350 XWB and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Rohr, Inc. includes the Engineered Polymer Products team which designs, develops, and produces acoustic and structural composites for marine and aerospace applications. Rohr, Inc. was formerly known as Rohr Industries, Inc. and changed its name to Rohr, Inc. in January 1992. Rohr, Inc. was founded in 1940 and is based in Chula Vista, California. Rohr, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Goodrich Corp. Photograph measures 8 1/2 x 11 inches and is in very good condition with only a small bend at lower left corner (see scan).
