Description: You are looking at custom Rogers Big R all maple Keller shell from 1976. It was a 14 inch Tom Tom. This is a custom drum that I built. It’s a six ply Shell, with added three ply, maple reinforcement hoops. The edges were re-cut at a 45° angle, the lugs were packed and lubed, and the aftermarket Rogers rubber gaskets were added to the lugs. Danmas washers were added to minimize slippage. The snare is a custom copper AIAS. It also has a TRICK 3 stage snare throw off and butt plate, the heads are new, a little bit of playing on them. The drum was wrapped in JS purple sparkle from jam in sam. This is a super cool drum. It’s a Frank-n, Rogers drum. It’s a low tuner so it’s great for blues, rock and any other cool gigs. This is a one-of-a-kind. The inside has been finished with white lacquer. all of the hardware on the inside of the drum is stainless steel all the old holes for the tom mounts have been filled with a walnut plug, sanded and painted.
